How do you guarantee that your cleaners are trustworthy and honest ?

A.

We always check our applicant’s references, skills and documents thoroughly to ensure we are satisfied with their experience, personality and ability to work in the UK.

We take pride in the standards of our criteria and as a result, only 50% of applicants meet our strict requirements.

  • References from at least 2 previous employers
  • National Insurance Number
  • Public Liability Insurance
  • Copy of Passport or formal ID, checked and held at our offices
  • Proof of ability to work in the UK
  • A CBR check can be made upon client’s request
  • London based

Also, an experienced Supervisor is always on-call to ensure that everything runs smoothly and to deal with any problems or queries you may have.

Are your workers insured ?

A.

Yes. Our entire work force is fully insured against any damage that might occur during the cleaning process.
Versailles Cleaning Ltd, will replace the item or repay the full value of any object damaged that is found to be the fault of one of our cleaners.

Do you charge per hour or per job ? 


A.

We offer a variety of cleaning services and fees are charged according to the job.

Domestic Cleaning

- From £13 per hour / per cleaner with a minimum booking of 2 hours.

Office Cleaning

- From £13 per hour / per cleaner with a minimum booking of 2 hours.

Is there a minimum number of hours I need to book my cleaner ?


A.

We have found through experience that to do a job to the standard Versailles Cleaning Ltd requires, it takes a minimum of 2 hours per visit. It is also a priority to ensure our cleaning staff’s time and travel expenses, are compensated for by their earnings.

Do I have to sign a minimum term contract for Office cleaning ?


A.

 No, there is no minimum term contract, but when you book a cleaner with Versailles Cleaning Ltd, you will be expected to sign a contract agreeing to our Terms & Conditions
, which includes a notice of one (1) month before canceling the service.

Q?

How frequently can my cleaner come ?


A.

Our business is designed to work around you. Your cleaner can come as often as you feel you need them.

Do I have to be at home when my cleaner comes ?


A.

No you don’t. All our Versailles Cleaning Ltd staff are well vetted and carefully selected to ensure our clients will feel secure leaving their cleaner alone at their home or office. If you are happy to provide a key, then your cleaner can simply get on with the job while you are out.

Will I have the same cleaner every time ?


A.

Yes. You will always have the same cleaner, unless you request a change. We understand it can be awkward having someone new in your home. Part of our success is built on creating a relationship of mutual respect and trust between you and your cleaner. Only when your cleaner makes plans to go on holiday will we contact you about providing a temporary replacement. If your cleaner is not available due to a sudden personal circumstance, we will contact you immediately to notify you of the need for a replacement, or to reschedule your cleaner’s visit.

Who provides the cleaning materials ?

A.

 For Domestic jobs, it is usual for the client to provide all cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaner, mop/bucket, dusters etc) and materials, (cleanser, bleach, polish, cloths etc), but we can of course provide cleaning materials on request which can then be added to your invoice at the end of every month.Your cleaner will often leave you a note to say they need more bleach or some other cleaning product, which can easily be added to your weekly shop.

What cleaning materials do I need to provide ?


A.

The suggested ‘Starter Kit’ for Domestic cleaning is as follows:

Bathroom - (Cif Spray, Viackal, Harpick)

Kitchen - (Cif Spray , Mr.Muscle Oven Cleaner)

Floor Cleaner (Cif, Flash,etc.)

Window/Glass Cleaner

Wood/Metal Polisher

Rubber Gloves

Sponges

Steel Wool

Microfiber Cloths

Bucket & Mop

Kitchen Towels (or similar) ** if possible, Microfiber cloths are preferred as they guarantee much better cleaning results and are much more economical and eco friendly.

What happens if I’m not satisfied with the cleaning service ?


A.

We want all our clients to be pleased with the work we do. If there is ever a case when a client is not fully satisfied Versailles Cleaning Ltd will arrange for a Supervisor to come round to assess the concern and any legitimate shortcomings will be dealt with. Please see our Terms & Conditions

Are there any additional charges ?


A.

 Please note that when you book an End Of Tenancy service, the property must be completely empty. If our staff are required to empty cupboards/drawers/wardrobes, or move furniture in order to clean, an additional charge may apply, depending on how much extra time and work this had added.

Do you do carpet cleaning and upholstery cleaning ?


A.

Do I need to pay my cleaner’s Congestion Charge & Parking ?


A.

 When doing an End of Tenancy Clean, Moving In Clean, After Builders Clean or Spring Clean, a car is needed to transport the necessary equipment and supplies required. If no off road parking or valid temporary parking permit is provided for these larger jobs, then parking fee payment and Congestion Charge payment for those living in the ‘C’ Zones in London, during applied hours is charged.
